Well, it's Sunday! and I don't know where the weekend has gone again! Always busy but don't seem to have anything to show for it!!! know what I mean?
The birdie applique is coming along, :-)
For the month of August, I've been asked to do a free pattern on TCCT, so I've been working on that...boy it's hard to find something that quick and easy to do and what you think others may like...sorry no sneek peeks....it would give it all away....anyway it will be out when the new addition of the magazine comes out on August 15th...so don't forget to mark your calenders for that....
Also, I'm going to have a giveaway for August on TCCT and here on the blog....join my mailing list for a prize...I'll pop a pic up of the prize closer to the 15th when it all starts. ?????
YD's birthday is coming up soon, getting all of her pressies ready. That's always fun and exciting for all....
Well that's about it... I had better get back to some actual sewing and stop procastinating!!!about it.

Had 5 minutes to myself before something else crops up, decided let's hit Blogland and see what's happening. Found a great blog called Ric Rac, check her out, fun and fabulous tutorials on a few different things, and very entertaining. Sounds a bit like my place at times.
Now I'm going to hit the bird applique again and see how much more I can get done without interruptions!!!!from the kids or the DH.

Please help to find a cure for this horrible illness that affects so many people!
If you feel that you can help, read on...
“A QUILT FOR BEV”
As most of you know I am a member of Australia’s first online craft magazine…………..The Chocolate Crow Trader.
Sadly we at TCCT have had to bid farewell to our founder, affectionately known to all of us girls as our “Mother Duck…. Beverley Miller, who recently lost her long battle with cancer.
We are looking to all of you kind and generous stitchers out there to help us by making a 8 ½” quilt square and are hoping that all of you will get behind this and send your finished 8 ½” block to:
Country Hart, 26 Jeffrey Street, PORT PIRIE, SA 5540.
There the quilt will be pieced together with all the blocks received and will then go onto auction with ALL proceeds donated to the Cancer Council in memory of our dearly beloved Bev, who touched so many lives in the craft world.
Your blocks can be Block, Traditional Quilt Block, Stitchery, Appliqué……anything and the theme for the quilt will be “HOPE”.
A closing date for receipt of the blocks has been set as 30 August 2008. This will allow us plenty of time to get it pieced together and quilted as we are hoping to get it on display at the SA Quilt and Craft Fair in November, so as to raise awareness of our auction.
We look forward to hearing from you all.
This is a really big thing for me, I have never attempted anything like this before, so bear with me while I learn....could take a while!
A bit about me: I have been into the quilting/patchwork thing for a few years, and with encouragement from a few close friends, have been designing my own thing for about 18 months. Most of my stuff goes onto a site called The Chocolate Crow Trader. I'm sure that a few girls out there know of it....lots of very talented people around.
I'll show you patterns that I have for sale, plus there will be a mailing list (when I learn how to do it), with monthly prizes, competitions etc., new stuff I'm working on and a few other things as they happen.
So, I hope that you enjoy what I present here and come back often to see what else I have been up to.
